He is a student of Taoism, a keeper of BaZi, a reader of the Five Elements. He does not design. He discerns. He studies the stone’s origin, its elemental nature, its quiet conversation with the earth. He consults the cycles of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. He asks: What does this stone seek? Who is meant to hold it? What intention is it already carrying?
